Now in it's 50th year. Each day nearly 100,000 folks visit this 675-acre massive
complex. Over 42 not-for-profit institutions are committed to the highest
quality patient care, rehabilitation, education and research. At South Main RV
Park we are particularly sensitive to our "Medical Center customers", and are
conveniently located just down the street. We offer medical discounts and
FREE shuttle service.
Museum District: South Main RV Park is less than 10 minutes away from
Houston's vast array of museums and art galleries with more than a dozen
facilities to enlighten and entertain children and adults.
Houston Rodeo:
In February, see the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo featuring a 6,000 trail-rider parade, tough competition for top prize money, and
country music's hottest stars.
Reliant Stadium:
World's first state of the art retractable roof NFL stadium, opens and closes in
10 minutes. Stadium seats 69,500 fans. 14500 tons of reinforced
steel tonnage is placed on this magnificent architectural structure. Site
of the 2004 Super Bowl XXXVIII and proud home for the Houston "Texans".
 Galveston Island: Once the haunt of infamous pirates, tourists love the island's plush beaches, mild temperatures, quaint shops, antiques, art galleries, museums, and restaurants. This historic island is home to Moody
Gardens which comprises three glass pyramids: the Aquarium Pyramid, the Discovery
Pyramid, and the Rain Forest Pyramid which houses 1,700-plus species of flowers, plants, and trees along with 2,000 free-flight
butterflies. Other attractions at Moody Gardens include an IMAX 3D
theater, Palm Beach, and the "Colonel" paddlewheel boat.
Space Center Houston /
NASA: Blast-off to another universe
at Space Center Houston with the Kid's Space Place, a gravity simulator for moon-walking,
a lunar rover, interactive displays, and mockup control of the Space
Shuttle. Plus, tour full-sized models of the Apollo Command Module and
International Space Station.
